Raising The Roof On Safety

Is not just our theme, it’s our promise and commitment to our customers and our employees.

Our superintendents and foreman all have an OSHA 30-hr certification card, and have completed training in fall protection, the hazards of roofing, first aid, CPR and AED.

All roofers have 10-hr OSHA certification card, and during their apprenticeship they attend more than 140 hours of training on material handling, operations and safety.  Production time lost due to employee injuries is one of the highest costs of any company outside of the expense of raw materials, and it is no different in the roofing industry.

Taylor Roofing continues to lead the industry in workplace safety precautions under the direction of a full-time safety director that performs weekly inspections at each of our job sites.

These weekly inspections assure us that all of our employees are following correct safety procedures, and that our customers and their employees are also safe in their workplace.

Hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility vests and shirts are another requirement while working for Taylor Roofing. All foreman, supervisors, field employees and office staff are required to attend annual refresher classes on roof safety and OSHA standards.
