Celebrating Women in Construction Week: Honoring 120 Years of Excellence at Taylor Roofing

As Women in Construction (WIC) Week kicks off, Taylor Roofing is proud to celebrate not only the remarkable contributions of women in the construction industry but also our own milestone—120 years in business! As a proud member of NAWIC (The National Association of Women in Construction), we stand alongside the talented women shaping the future of commercial roofing and beyond.

What is Women in Construction (WIC) Week?

Women in Construction Week is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the vital role women play in the construction industry. Organized by NAWIC, this week-long event raises awareness about the opportunities available for women in construction while recognizing their contributions, leadership, and innovation in a traditionally male-dominated field.

At Taylor Roofing, we believe in fostering an inclusive work environment where women can thrive, lead, and build long-lasting careers in roofing and construction.

Taylor Roofing’s Legacy: 120 Years of Excellence

For over a century, Taylor Roofing has been a trusted name in commercial roofing across the St. Louis area. As we celebrate 120 years in business, we reflect on the progress we’ve made and the importance of evolving with the industry. One of the biggest transformations has been the increasing presence of women in roofing and construction, taking on roles as project managers, estimators, roofers, engineers, and business leaders.

We recognize that diversity in our workforce strengthens not just our company, but the entire industry. By supporting and mentoring women in construction, we contribute to a more innovative and inclusive future.

Women in Roofing: Breaking Barriers & Building the Future

Women are making a powerful impact in the roofing industry—whether through hands-on craftsmanship, business leadership, or advocating for change. At Taylor Roofing, we are committed to supporting and empowering women in our industry, ensuring they have opportunities to advance and succeed.

Women bring unique perspectives, leadership styles, and problem-solving skills that drive efficiency and innovation. Their growing presence in construction is reshaping the industry, creating more inclusive workplaces, and setting new standards of excellence.

Our Commitment to NAWIC & Supporting Women in Construction

As an active NAWIC member, Taylor Roofing aligns with its mission to advocate for women in construction. NAWIC provides education, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help women excel in the industry.
