This year Catherine Taylor Yank (CEO) with Jim Taylor, Inc. (aka Taylor Roofing) is being honored in The St. Louis Business Journal for her continuous excellence within the community. Congratulations to Catherine Taylor Yank for being one of St. Louis’ Most Influential Business Women.

The Most Influential Woman Award recognizes those who exemplify breadth of achievement in the St. Louis area and have made a difference within their community. Catherine Taylor Yank has been selected to accept this outstanding award due to her impressive business ability and technical excellence as well as her philanthropic community involvement.

Catherine began her career in construction working for her father’s roofing business while attending college. Catherine earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Southern Illinois University @ Edwardsville and an MBA from St. Louis University. She was the first woman selected for the American Society of Professional Estimators Halls of Fame and later promoted to president of Jim Taylor, Inc in 1989. Catherine was named the Carl Schweinfurth District Rotarian of the year in 1999. While serving as District 6510 Governor of Rotary, she coordinated the shipping of 60,000 new and slightly used books to Belize involving every single club in the District. Catherine received the 2016 Spirit of Philanthropy Award and belongs to the “Miracle of the Roses Society” which is recognition for lifetime giving from the HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Foundation. Catherine is a Sustaining Member of the Rotary Foundation, a member of the Paul Harris Society, a Charter Member of the Bequest Society, Major Donor and Arch C. Klumpf Society – Trustees Circle.
